Many of us have a hard time
starting a prayer. When I approach the Lord in prayer, I relate to him using the Bible. The Bible has outline
how we are to approach him in Matthew 6. I also use his love poems –
I pray that out of his glorious riches[God] may strengthen
you with power through his spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
And I Pray that you, being rooted and established
in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV
AFTER THIS
MANNER THEREFORE PRAY:
Our
Father which art in heaven Hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

God has said: “I will live
with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” …..Since we have these promises,
dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence
for God.
